മാവോയിസ്റ്റ് ഭീഷണി:തൊണ്ടർനാടിന് 5 കോടിയുടെ പദ്ധതി

കൽപ്പറ്റ: വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പിന്നോക്ക പ്രദേശമായ തൊണ്ടർനാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ അഞ്ചുകോടി രൂപയുടെ വികസന പദ്ധതികൾക്ക് സർക്കാർ അനുമതി നൽകി. മാവോയിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ ഇടപെടൽ ഇതിനു പ്രേരണയായെന്നാണ് സൂചന. തൊണ്ടർനാട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ആദിവാസി കോളനികളിൽ സംയോജിത സുസ്ഥിര വികസന പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കുമെന്ന് പട്ടികവർഗ്ഗക്ഷേമ മന്ത്രി പി.കെ. ജയലക്ഷ്മി അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. തൊണ്ടർനാട് ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ മാവോയിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ നിരന്തരമായ ഇടപെടൽ സർക്കാരിന്റെ കണ്ണ് തുറപ്പിക്കാൻ ഇടയാക്കിയെന്ന് വേണം കരുതാൻ. മന്ത്രിയുടെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം വയനാട് ജില്ലാ കളക്ടർ കേശവേന്ദ്രകുമാർ സമർപ്പിച്ച പദ്ധതിക്ക് സർക്കാർ അതേപടി അംഗീകാരം നൽകുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഇത്രയും തിടുക്കം കാണിച്ചത് മാവോയിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യം കൊണ്ടുമാത്രം. പദ്ധതികൾ 2015 മാർച്ച് 31-നകം പൂർത്തിയാക്കുമെന്നും സർക്കാരിന്റെ അറിയിപ്പിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. മാത്രമല്ല, ഡിസംബർ 31നും ജനുവരി ഒന്നിനുമായി ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രി രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല തൊണ്ടർനാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ആദിവാസികൾക്കൊപ്പം ചെലവഴിക്കുമെന്ന് ഈയിടെ വനാട്ടിൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു.

കോമ്പാറ, ചുരുളി, മാറാടി, പെരിഞ്ചേരിമല, പന്നിപ്പാട്, ചാപ്പയിൽ- മുണ്ടയിൽ, കരിങ്കൽഇറ്റിലാടിയിൽ, കാട്ടിയേരി, കാട്ടിമൂല, കാർക്കൊട്ടിൽ, മട്ടിലയം, അരിമല എന്നീ കോളനികളെയാണ് പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. വികസന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളിൽ സർക്കാർ മുഖംതിരിഞ്ഞ് നിൽക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ആദിവാസി കോളനികളിൽ മാവോയിസ്റ്റുകൾ ഇടപെടാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്.

തൊണ്ടർനാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ ചപ്പ കോളനിക്ക് സമീപം ഡിസംബർ ഏഴിന് മാവോയിസ്റ്റുകളും പൊലീസും ഏറ്റുമുട്ടിയിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് സ്ഥലം സന്ദർശിക്കാനെത്തിയ മാനന്തവാടി ബ്ളോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് എം.ജി. ബിജുവിനെയും തൊണ്ടർനാട് പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ബിന്ദുവിനെയും നാട്ടുകാർ തടയുകയുണ്ടായി.
